Jun Park is a standout talent in the hair industry — he is the only stylist in Singapore, and one of the few in Asia to receive the Top Stylist title and win two prestigious awards from Sassoon Salon/Academy (formerly Vidal Sassoon).
As a qualified technical instructor, Jun has personally mentored numerous stylists who now work in top hair salons across Singapore, Canada, and Korea. His expertise and influence have been widely recognized, earning him accolades from both the media and the public, including “Best Stylist for Face-Framing Haircuts” and “Best Korean Stylist in Singapore.”
Jun’s approach to hair design goes beyond trends. He combines creativity with precision, creating styles that are not just fashionable but mathematically tailored to suit each client’s features. At Jo:Hwa, he is dedicated to offering a fresh perspective on hair design — one that balances artistry, technical excellence, and individuality.
“Hi, I am Jun, the founder of Jo:Hwa Hair & Living. For me, hair is more than just strands and scissors — it's an incredible medium to transform not only appearances but also people's outlook on themselves.
Since young, my unwavering passion for hairstyling has been the driving force behind my journey. I became a certified hairstylist at the age of 16, and set my sights on a career path that aimed to fuse traditional Korean hair design techniques with global trends. I live and breathe the artistry of hair, and my ultimate goal is to revolutionise not just appearances, but the very essence of how people perceive themselves.
To achieve my goal, I decided to pursue my career abroad and succeeded in securing a position at Vidal Sassoon after several years of hard work. In just five years, I won two hair design competitions and earned the coveted title of Chief Designer. Eventually, my search for new horizons led me to Singapore, where I shared my knowledge and skills with young hairstylists.
I believe a great hairstyle does more than enhance appearance — it boosts confidence and helps people feel like the best version of themselves. Over the years, I’ve focused on creating personalised hair design experiences, which led to being recognised as one of the top three Korean stylists in Singapore and featured in Her World magazine for tailoring styles to individual face shapes.
At Jo:Hwa Hair & Living, my goal is to provide a hair design experience that combines technical precision with a clear understanding of each client’s needs. I also aim to mentor aspiring hairstylists, helping them build their skills and explore their creativity.
